Ken Gray

Position: Chartered Occupational Psychologist & HR Manager

Ken is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist and Director of The Keil Centre and has overall responsibility for the company’s Business Psychology and Wellbeing services.

He applies powerful psychometrics, facilitation and coaching approaches that inform both personal development choices and help strengthen sustained productive team working relations. He also works with client organisations to develop behaviour standards, competencies and robust selection, development and performance review systems and behaviour standards.

Ken specialises in Safety Culture, and in particular how to understand, assess and shape work behaviours to achieve sustainable improvements in performance. He has designed safety leadership coaching programmes, Just Culture procedures and other Safety Behaviour assessment and development consultancy services.

As well as being responsible for The Keil Centre’s StressTools® stress risk assessment survey, Ken develops and delivers the company’s suite of ‘Managing Psychological Wellbeing’ and Personal Resilience workshops. In 2010 Ken was shortlisted for the BPS Practitioner of the Year.

He is a registered Occupational Psychologist with the HCPC and an Associate Fellow of The British Psychological Society. He is listed on the BPS Register of Qualified Test Users (RQTU).

Ken’s experience is cross-industry and includes Local and National Government, Energy, Chemical, Aeronautical, Mining, Construction, Housing, Engineering, Steel, FMCG & Oil and Gas.
