Katherine Hill

Katherine is a Human Factors specialist, based in Melbourne, Australia (Boonwarrung Country). She has worked in operational roles in the aviation industry as an Air Traffic Controller, as well as a Human Factors Specialist and Program Manager in the rail and aviation industries. Her areas of special interest include non-technical skills and fatigue risk management training, accident and incident investigations, human error analysis, safety culture and leadership, and the development of employee wellbeing programs. Katherine has extensive experience developing and delivering human factors, non-technical skills, crew resource management, investigations and wellbeing training programs in safety critical environments.

Katherine holds a BA (Politics), a GradDip (Psychology) and an MAvMgmt. She is a member of the Australian Aviation Psychology Association and the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society of Australia.
