Client Conference 2025 – Thank You for Joining Us!
January 14, 2026
In November, we were delighted to welcome delegates to our Client Conference at the stunning Norton House Hotel. The event provided an invaluable opportunity to share knowledge, explore best practices, and discuss how human factors can shape safer, healthier, and more effective workplaces.
The day featured a fantastic lineup of speakers from Australia, the USA and the UK covering a wide range of thought-provoking topics:
- Health and Wellbeing Impacts on Company Culture
Stuart Clack and Alan Dillien, Grain LNG - Meta-Analysis of Human Factors Incident Data
Kylie Newton, NSW Resources Regulator & Meghann Croome, The Keil Centre - New Guidance on Learning from Incidents, Accidents and Events
Stuart King, Energy Institute - Personal Resilience and Wellbeing Program
Melissa Maclean, Queensland Hydro - Human Factors Engineering in Control Center Design
Forrest Garrison & Val Richards, BAW Architecture - Frontline Safety Leadership Programme
Megan Rivers, Santos - Safety Culture Assessment in Renewable Energy
Gareth Piggot, ScottishPower Renewables - Introduction to Vicarious Trauma
Lize Van Niekerk, The Keil Centre - Zero Harm Behaviours Program
Gary Rorke, Ingevity
Each session sparked meaningful discussion and provided practical insights into improving safety, wellbeing, and organisational culture.
Delegates told us the quality of speakers and the opportunities for networking with people from other organisations facing similar challenges were the main strengths of the event.

The first day of the Conference concluded with a drinks reception and a memorable dinner, where delegates enjoyed networking in a relaxed setting. A highlight of the evening was the traditional Scottish piper, who made the event even more special.
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all delegates for attending and contributing to the success of the event. Your engagement and enthusiasm made this conference a truly collaborative experience.

We look forward to continuing these conversations and sharing updates on future events!
