Training Needs Analysis (TNA) offers a structured approach to identify and support the training needs of users of new or modified systems and equipment. This is particularly important where system safety is reliant on end users performing their tasks correctly. TNA can be undertaken during design development or at a later stage, to ensure that the training requirement is comprehensively captured and assessed and that the training delivery meets the training need.
The Keil Centre can undertake TNA to understand the training needs for changes to existing work practices or equipment, or as part of an engineering development programme.
Issues identified during the TNA may, for example, require changes to equipment or system design, manning levels, tasks or procedures.
