COVID-19: Testing of new ventilator systems

Some description

The Keil Centre is pleased to have supported the development of new guidance from the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors (CIEHF) to aid the testing of new ventilator systems.

The guidance was developed to assist manufacturers with testing of vital frontline ventilator systems to meet the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) requirements specification. The testing protocol aims to reduce the potential fatal effects of use errors.

If you are in the business of making ventilators rapidly in the current COVID-19 crisis, you can find the guidance here.
